Additional Information
Information on the Charging Process
How is the charging cable connected?
Plug the charging cable into the vehicle and the charging station; make sure to use the correct side of the station for car sharing.
How is the charging process started?
Use the grey RFID chip (on the keychain). Hold the chip in front of the reader (center front side of the charging station) for several seconds. After a short moment, the charging process will start (LED turns blue).
How is the charging cable disconnected?
Unlock the vehicle with the key. If the plug does not release from the vehicle, unlock the central locking system again using the key. Now disconnect the plug from the car and the station. Keep the charging cable in the trunk during the journey to prevent theft. In case of loss, the driver is liable.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
At all charging stations within the LadeVerbundPlus network; see https://ladeverbundplus.chargecloud.de/.
Which cards are in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, PIN if applicable)
Only a grey RFID chip on the keychain; it works at all stations within the LadeVerbundPlus network.
How is the respective card used?
After connecting the charging cable, hold the grey chip in front of the station’s RFID reader for an extended period (about 5-10 seconds); the LED will turn blue = charging process active.
If the charging process does not start, the station displays an emergency contact number.
