Information on Charging Process
How is the charging cable connected?
The charging cable is always in the rear trunk. Connect it first to the car and then to the charging station (exception for fast chargers). At some charging stations, the cable must be turned 1/8 to the right to secure it (e.g., Medical Valley Center).
How is the charging process started?
Activate the charging process by holding the charging card against the display on the charging station. If this doesn’t work, disconnect and reconnect the charging cable. Important: The electric motor must be turned off, otherwise, the charging process will not start, and the car cannot be locked!
How is the charging process stopped?
Open the vehicle; this will also unlock the charging cable from the car and the charging station.
How is the charging cable stored?
The charging cable should be placed back in the rear trunk.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
Only at LadeverbundPLUS stations (approximately North Bavaria). All charging points are visible in the LadeverbundPLUS app.
Outside this area, you can either charge at your own expense or apply for a Europe-wide valid DKV charging card a few days before your trip by emailing [email protected].
Which cards are available in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, PIN if applicable)
LadeverbundPLUS.
At the Hotel Luise location, there is also a Wirelan card that only works there. No PIN is required.
How is each card used?
Hold the card against the display on the charging station until the green light turns blue.
