Where are the shared vehicles located?
20 vehicles are distributed throughout the Aschaffenburg city area, 2 vehicles are in the Mainaschaff community, and another vehicle will soon be available in the Goldbach community.
Can the shared vehicles be returned at multiple locations, or must they always be returned to the pickup station? (Free-floating or station-based?)
Vehicles must always be returned to the pickup station! Station-based only!
What are the vehicle return conditions? (e.g., vehicle at the designated charging point, charging process started, key-chip, charging (& parking) card in the holder in the glove compartment)
Electric vehicles must always be parked at the charging station and plugged in if the battery is below 80%. Gasoline, diesel, and gas-powered vehicles must be refueled if less than 25% of the fuel tank remains. The key chip must, of course, be inserted, and the vehicle must be locked using the app or customer card at the reader. Charging and fuel cards should be placed in the designated clear plastic sleeve in the cover flap of the onboard folder. At the moment, we are not yet using the iBoxx slots for this purpose.
Which vehicles are available at which locations?
Please check the APP.
Does the driver's license need to be validated? If so, how can it be validated?
Yes, driver's licenses must be validated.
In which countries are the shared vehicles insured?
Germany.
Is a second driver insured? If yes, what conditions must they meet?
No, only registered users are allowed to drive!
Additional comments:
Currently, there are no vehicles with a trailer hitch.
There are also no roof racks.
Animals may only be transported in separate pet boxes and only in the trunk.
The vehicles are equipped with all-season tires, except for 2 vehicles with winter tires: VW Passat AB-VC 21 and VW Golf AB-VC 22.
Trips abroad within Europe are allowed.
Information on the charging process:
How is the charging cable connected?
The charging cable is located in the vehicle's trunk. First, open the charging flap. There is a switch with the corresponding symbol to the left of the steering wheel. Press it, and the charging flap will open (for the Renault Zoe vehicle, there are currently no other models available). The charging flap and socket are located at the front of the vehicle. First, plug the cable into the vehicle, then into the charging station.
How is the charging process started?
Now, take the charging card, which is located in the front cover flap of the onboard folder, and hold it against the scanner of the charging station. There should be a beep, and the charging process will start. The light at the charging flap of the vehicle should blink blue.
How is the charging process stopped?
Press the charging flap button (the lever to the left of the steering wheel with the corresponding symbol), and the charging cable will be released, stopping the charging process. Remove the charging cable from the vehicle first, then from the charging station, and store it in the trunk.
Where is the charging cable stored?
The charging cable remains in the vehicle’s trunk.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
At the charging stations for the vehicles at the marked places at the defined locations. Additionally, at all charging stations within www.ladenetz.de (install the Ladenetz app on your smartphone).
Which cards are in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, possibly PIN)
Electric vehicles: Charging cards from Stadtwerke Aschaffenburg.
Gasoline, Diesel vehicles: DKV fuel cards, which can be used at almost all fuel stations throughout Europe.
How is each card used?
Electric vehicles: As described above.
Gasoline, Diesel vehicles: Refuel normally, then pay with the card. The PIN for the card is in the onboard folder. The terminal at the gas station will require the input of the vehicle’s mileage, so check it beforehand!
Information on accident and damage reporting:
What should be done in the event of an accident or breakdown?
This is described in detail in the onboard folder, where you will also find emergency contact numbers for insurance and roadside assistance. Standard forms for the "European Accident Report" are also included in the folder.
Are there any additional information or guides available in the vehicle (e.g., How to Guide)? If so, where can the user find it?
Information about the vehicle can be found in the onboard folder.
