What rates are offered? Is there a rate overview?

Please refer to the app for more information. The prices listed in the app are always binding.

Where are the sharing vehicles located?

The vehicles are available at various locations in Bamberg and Bayreuth.

Can the vehicles be returned to different locations, or must they always be returned to the pickup station? (Free Floating or Station-based)

Station-based: The vehicle must always be returned to the pickup station or its designated parking area.

What are the return conditions for the vehicles? (e.g., car at the assigned charging point, charging started, key chip, charging & parking card in the holder in the glove compartment)

For all vehicles:

  • Key chip, charging & parking card in the holder in the glove compartment.
    For combustion vehicles: At least 1/4 fuel in the tank.
    For electric cars: Connected and charging started.

Which vehicles are available at which locations?

The current vehicles and parking spots are visible in the app.

Does the driver’s license need to be validated? If yes, how can this be validated?

Driver’s license validation is required and takes place during registration or in consultation with our office.

In which countries are the sharing vehicles insured?

Information about Charging

How is the charging cable connected?

  • Park and turn off the car.

  • Connect the car to the charging station.
    The procedure varies depending on the charging station and vehicle. Please refer to the information provided in the app.

How is the charging process started?

  • Station Bamberg - Färberhaus: Charging starts automatically.

  • Other stations: Unlock using the RFID card or chip from the car.

How is the charging process ended?

Depends on the vehicle and station. Refer to the information provided in the app.

How is the charging cable disconnected?

Depends on the vehicle and station. Refer to the information provided in the app.

At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?

Vehicle-specific exceptions are documented in the app.

Which cards are available in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, possibly PIN)

Charging network cards. For use abroad and as a backup, some vehicles have Shell charging cards.

How are the respective cards used?

Depending on the charging station, either:

  1. Unlock the charging station first by holding the card to it and then connect the vehicle.

  2. Or connect the vehicle first and then unlock by holding the card to the station.


Accident and Damage Reporting

What should be done in the event of an accident or breakdown?

Contact customer service. Follow vehicle-specific instructions provided in the app or find information on the respective vehicles here.

Are there additional instructions for users inside the vehicle (e.g., a How-to Guide)? If yes, where can the user find them?
