Information about Accidents and Damage Reporting
What steps should be taken in case of an accident or breakdown?
Are there additional details for users in the vehicle (e.g., How-to Guide)? If so, where can users find them?
In case of accidents, damages, or breakdowns during the trip, please immediately contact the 24/7 accident and breakdown service or the 24/7 booking service at 0241 / 95 78 83 66 and the Stadtwerke Waldkraiburg office at 08638 / 94 84 00 or via email at [email protected].
In case of an accident, whether with or without another party, always notify the police. You are also required to record all necessary information. Complete the accident report (see onboard book) carefully. Clearly write the license plate number of the opposing vehicle. Do not sign any waivers, admissions of guilt, or similar documents.
If you damage a stationary vehicle and neither the driver nor the owner is available, you must immediately notify the police or go to the nearest police station to report the damage. Leaving only a note is not sufficient. Failing to properly report damages is considered HIT-AND-RUN!
If you need to order vehicle repairs independently to continue your journey, you must obtain prior approval from Stadtwerke Waldkraiburg (by phone). Refunds for invoices can only be issued if the invoices are made out to Stadtwerke Waldkraiburg.
All roadside assistance benefits must be pre-approved by calling the roadside assistance insurer (phone number in the onboard book). For details about towing, recovery, replacement vehicles, etc., refer to the onboard book.
