Information about Charging Process

How is the charging cable connected?

First, the driver must take the white card from the glove compartment and carry it. Then, they retrieve the charging cable from the trunk and plug one end into the vehicle. Next, they go to the EVLdrive charging station (blue, pink, white) and hold the white card in front of the pillar. Once the display grants authorization, they plug the cable into the "socket".

How is the charging process started?

To start the charging process, please hold the white card, which is located in the vehicle's glove compartment, against the pillar. Once the pillar grants authorization, you can plug the charging cable into the socket.

How is the charging process stopped?

The charging process stops when you unlock the vehicle. Open a driver's door within the next 30 seconds and remove the charging cable from the car. Then, you can remove it from the station and place it in the trunk. Alternatively: Unlock the vehicle via the app and retrieve the car key and white card from the glove compartment. If the car locks again, simply open it. Take the white card and hold it up; once you hear a "click", you can remove the cable.

How is the charging cable disconnected?

-

Which charging stations can the charging cards be used at?

The white cards are only for EVLdrive charging stations (blue, pink, white). The other card is for public charging stations if needed.

What cards are available in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, possibly PIN)

One white card and one EVL (Newmotion) card.

How is each card used?

The white card is for EVLdrive charging stations, and the other card is for all other charging stations.
