Where are the car-sharing vehicles located?

Can the vehicles be returned at different locations, or must they be returned to the pick-up station? (Free Floating or Station-Based)

No. This is a station-based car-sharing system, meaning the vehicle must always be returned to the same location where it was picked up.

Does the driver's license need to be validated? If so, how can it be validated?

Yes, the driver's license must be validated annually. This can be done via JUMIO directly in the MOQO app under "My Profile" → "Driver's License Validation".

If this does not work, a photo (front and back) of the license with the current date (on a newspaper, calendar, etc.) can be sent to our office at [email protected]. This validation, however, is only processed during office hours.

In which countries are the car-sharing vehicles insured?

International – Europe – See the green insurance card in the glove compartment (case).

Is a second driver insured? If so, what requirements must they meet?

Only if the second driver is also registered & validated in our MOQO system.

Charging Information

How is the charging cable connected? (Please describe the process in detail so agents can best assist users.)

  • Renault Zoe: Before connecting or disconnecting the charging cable, the charging socket must be opened or released. The unlock button for this is located in the cockpit (left, below the steering wheel). After pressing it, the charging cable can be removed or plugged in.

  • VW & CUPRA: Unlocking the car (via the app or access card) also unlocks the charging port, allowing the cable to be connected or disconnected. WARNING: If too much time passes after unlocking, the cable will automatically lock again. To release it, reopen the car via the MOQO app under "Stopover" (Unlock).

  • General Rule: The charging cable must always be kept in the vehicle and must not be left at the charging station. This is important for intermediate charging, which can be done at all TIWAG charging stations with the TIWAG charging card (located in the sun visor).

How is the charging process started?

  • At TIWAG charging stations:

    1. Plug the charging cable into the vehicle and the charging station.

    2. Take the TIWAG charging card from the sun visor and hold it against the RFID symbol on the charging station.

    3. Wait for the charging process to be authorized.

    4. After authorization, return the TIWAG card to the sun visor.

    5. End the booking or lock the vehicle.

  • At the Tristach location (VW ID3 - LZ-719RF):

    1. Plug in the charging cable.

    2. Use the blue charging chip (located in the center console) to authorize charging.

    3. Wait for charging to start, then return the chip to the car and end the booking.

  • At WKO Lienz (Renault Zoe - LZ-312CK):

    1. Take the Gutmann charging card (found in the sun visor) and hold it against the charging station.

    2. Plug in the charging cable at both the car and the station.

    3. Wait for charging to start.

How is the charging process ended?

  • Unlocking the vehicle will interrupt the charging process.

  • The charging cable can then be removed from both the vehicle and the charging station.

For Renault Zoe: Press the charging cable button in the cockpit (left of the steering wheel) before removing the cable.

What should I do if the charging cable cannot be removed?

  • Stay calm and do not forcefully pull or yank the cable, as this may damage the sensors.

  • Try holding the charging chip or card (depending on the vehicle & location) to the charging station again to unlock the cable.

Where can the charging cards be used?

  • At all TIWAG charging stations and many roaming partners.

  • The TIWAG app may help find compatible stations.

  • Outside of Tyrol & Carinthia, the cards cannot be used, and charging must be paid for privately.

What cards are inside the vehicle?

  • TIWAG charging card – No PIN required (in the sun visor).

  • LZ-312CK: Gutmann charging card (in the sun visor) for WKO Lienz + TIWAG card (in glove compartment).

  • LZ-719RF: Charging chip for Tristach + TIWAG card (in sun visor).

Accident & Damage Reporting

What should be done in case of an accident or breakdown?

  • All vehicles have a mobility guarantee from VW.

  • Always call VW Roadside Assistance: +43 1 866 66 and provide the vehicle license plate number.

  • Keep and submit all receipts for expenses incurred.

  • Report the damage in the MOQO app so the vehicle can be locked via the service line or app.

Are additional user instructions available in the vehicle?

Yes, in the glove compartment and in the app under "My active booking" → "Usage instructions" (scroll to the bottom).

Is there a direct customer service contact?

For urgent cases (e.g., major accidents), users can be given the private number T. 0650 6454739.
