“Vehicle does not open” -> All DKB vehicles can be opened by the DKB admins (DKB fleet management) via the Mercedes app.
"Vehicle does not close -> there may still be a window open in one of the Mercedes vehicles, please check and try again afterwards.

At which locations are the sharing vehicles available?

Can the sharing vehicles be returned at different locations, or must they always be returned to the pick-up station? (Free-floating or station-based)
Station-based. Return at other stations is not possible.
What are the return conditions for the vehicles?

Only the vehicles of the respective customer fleet.

They are customer vehicles – no specific information provided.
Is a second driver insured? If yes, what conditions must be met?
Yes, they must be registered and specified during the booking.
Charging Information
How is the charging cable connected?
The vehicle must be unlocked
The booking must still be active (not ended)
How is the charging process started?
Hold the charging card/chip in front of the charging station to activate it (see charging station description)
Plug the cable into the charging socket and check if charging has started (vehicle or station display)
How is the charging process ended?
Start the booking to unlock the vehicle
Remove the cable and store it properly
How is the charging cable stored after use?
If the vehicle’s cable is used, it must be placed back in the vehicle.
If the station’s cable is used, it must be hung back properly.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
Freiburg: Only city-owned charging stations
DKB/Picnic: Currently no EV vehicles
WMF: They use their own charging cards – internal information available there
Which cards are in the vehicle? (Type of card, provider, possibly PIN)
Picnic: Currently UTA fuel cards
All other customers use their own providers
How is the respective card used?
Used as a payment card at partner fuel stations.
Accident and Damage Reporting Information
What to do in the event of an accident or breakdown?
The police must always be informed
An accident report must be submitted
Information must be given about whether the vehicle is still drivable
You must not leave the scene of the accident without prior consultation
An accident report template will be provided by us.
